This page explains how we research and write our health guides and product reviews, so you know exactly where our information comes from.
How We Research
Every guide follows the same simple process:
- Gather research. We start with peer-reviewed studies, clinical guidelines, and trusted health sources.
- Weigh the evidence. We look at how strong the data is, the sample sizes, and where the gaps or doubts are.
- Write it plainly. We turn the findings into clear language, with both the benefits and the limits stated.
- Keep it current. We revisit our guides and update them as new evidence or products appear.
What We Look At
When we review a supplement, product, or protocol, we consider things like:
- What the published research says, and how strong that research is
- Whether claims are supported by human studies or only early or animal data
- Safety, common side effects, and who should be cautious
- Value for money and whether simpler options exist
- How the product describes itself, and whether those claims hold up
What We Do Not Do
So there is no confusion about our methods:
- We do not test products in a laboratory or measure them ourselves.
- We do not claim personal, hands-on testing of every product we mention.
- We do not rely on a single study or a company’s own marketing as proof.
Our reviews are research-based, not lab-based. Where we cannot verify a claim, we say the evidence is limited rather than presenting it as fact.

Where helpful, we point to the research and sources behind our conclusions so you can read further and check them yourself.
